At Brat Pack, we are a kid’s salon with a ton of experience. We have been in business for 30 years, serving families in the Redmond area. We understand that cutting a child’s hair is different than cutting an adult’s hair and we do everything we can to be the best in the industry.

Since our salon has been in business for so many years, we have been able to perfect our practice and figure out how to make a child’s haircut experience as good as possible. Stylists

The stylists at Brat Pack all have experience working with children. In fact, each of our stylists has over five years of experience working with just children. Our stylists are professionals who not only know how to work with children, but also understand how to properly cut hair in the best way possible.

At Brat Pack, we only provide quality haircuts that grow out well, meaning they last longer. Our stylists know how to provide a great experience to our clients and they are all skilled in working with uncooperative children, unlike other salons which will generally ask you to leave if your child is crying. Whether your child is uncooperative, has special needs, or is nervous about their haircut, our stylist will be sure to make the experience more comfortable for them.

Our stylists at Brat Pack, get paid a working wage so that they do not have to work multiple jobs to live and support themselves and their families. You may notice that our prices are slightly higher than others, and this is why. But this means that your stylist is dedicated to giving a quality haircut every time. When you go to some other salons, the stylists get paid on how many haircuts they do, which can lead them to rush and skimp on a high-quality job, especially on children. Process

Our process is different from other children’s salons. Instead of walking in, getting an average haircut, and leaving, only to need another haircut in a few weeks, we create a process that is better for you and your child.

Each cut starts with a thorough consultation and our signature “10 Step Brat Pack Process.” We will take detailed notes before and after the haircut so that you know exactly when you want next time. These notes include who cut your child’s hair and what exact cut they got. This allows for quicker consultations and allows us to make changes easier.

During your child’s haircut, they can borrow a t-shirt to wear, which will keep their shirt hair-free and help avoid the itch that generally comes with haircuts. We also use a fresh cape for every client and don’t reuse them.

Our haircuts end with what we call “the works.” This includes a temporary hair color, hair fragrance, and sparkles if desired. While you can choose not to end your child’s haircut with “the works,” it is a fun way for them to enjoy their fresh new cut! Your child will also receive a free first haircut certificate to remember this special time in your child’s life that includes a lock of their hair.
